MY STORY BROUGHT ME TO BE WHO I AM

Dear reader,

Everyone has a story, and I’m excited to share mine with you.

My journey through both highs and lows has deepened my passion for health and wellness. With a background in physical education and sports coaching, I have also explored nutrition and behavior change, with a particular focus on the psychology of nutrition and nutritional coaching.

My life experiences have deeply influenced my education and career, fueling my passion for health and well-being. From childhood, I faced challenges like derogatory comments about my appearance and struggles with OCD, which went unrecognized for years. These experiences—ranging from restrictive diets, binge eating, emotional eating to a disconnection between mind and body—have shaped who I am today. They’ve given me the empathy and drive to support others in achieving their best health and well-being.

I believe that “after a big wave comes a calm sea,” and for me, that calm has come from my family, friends, and the professionals who’ve supported my journey. Their support has turned my challenges into a source of clarity and strength. This journey ignited my passion for my current vocation. I’ve explored emotional eating, food habits, and the impact of exercise on physical and mental health. I hold an MSc in Exercise and Nutrition Science and a BA (Hons) in Physical Activity and Sport Coaching, and I am currently pursuing a MSc in the Psychology of Eating and Nutritional Coaching. Additionally, I have certifications in nutrition, dietetics, sports performance, and mental health awareness, among others.

These experiences have fueled my drive to enhance overall health and underscored the importance of education and self-awareness. They’ve empowered me to navigate life’s challenges and support others in their pursuit of better health. Every day we are more powerful than we were yesterday, and the sea will always be a bit calmer than it was before.
